Our team is seeking a dynamic, organized, and passionate individual to join the Member Services team, a key position at the heart of our mission. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop your expertise in the music and copyright industry while contributing to the defense of the interests of the independent music sector.
 
As the first point of contact for Panorama members, record labels, and rights holders, you will play a critical role in managing memberships, providing customer support, and updating repertoires.

 

About Panorama
 

Panorama, formerly Soproq, is a collective management organization for the copyright of sound recordings and music videos. It collects and distributes royalties related to the use of this content by radio stations, background music services, semi‑interactive and non‑interactive webcasting services, and television stations, on behalf of rights holders in the independent music production sector. More than 10,000 rights holders are members of Panorama, and the repertoire it represents includes over 10 million sound recordings and music videos.

Our office is in the Rosemont-La-Petite-Patrie borough of Montreal, just a short walk from the Beaubien and Rosemont metro stations and is easily accessible by bike, especially via the REV Saint‑Denis.

Main Tasks


  • Respond quickly and efficiently to incoming inquiries by phone and email.
  • Process membership applications.
  • Assist members in using the organization's web portal.
  • Collaborate in the integration and updating of the repertoire in the database.
  • Identify and match the repertoire in broadcast logs.
  • Provide support to Panorama's operations.

Skills required


  • Fluency in French and English (oral and written), essential for interacting with members.
  • College or university education or any relevant experience related to the position.
  • Good knowledge of the Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Experience in the music industry.
  • Basic notions of copyright law (an asset).

Conditions


  • Permanent full-time position.
  • Work schedule: 35 hours per week from Monday to Friday.
  • Remuneration: based on experience and policy.
  • Group insurance plan.
  • Three weeks of paid vacation after one year, plus an additional two-week paid break during the holiday season.
  • Partial remote work possible, with required in‑office presence a few days per week.
