Personal information refers to any data that can identify an individual. Upon joining Panorama or making subsequent updates to an account, certain information may be provided, such as: First and Last Name, mailing address, email address, necessary data for the identification of repertoire, and other information shared within the context of the business relationship and use of the Octave portal (refer to the terms of use).
Only Panorama employees, national and international partners (such as other collective management organizations and music users), and IT providers may have access to certain personal data strictly for the purposes of exercising the rights granted to Panorama under the Member Agreement.
All individuals with access to your personal data comply with security and confidentiality requirements, including those stipulated by the Act. Under no circumstances will the data be disclosed to third parties for commercial purposes beyond what is outlined in the Member Agreement.
Personal data is hosted on servers located in Canada. As part of Panorama's international activities, some data may be transferred to servers outside of Canada, which may be subject to foreign regulations and disclosed to foreign authorities under those regulations.
The Act provides a right of access and rectification of personal information, subject to certain exceptions. To exercise these rights, please send your request by email to info@panorama.mu. Note that you will be required to prove your capacity and identity, as well as comply with the conditions for exercising these rights under the Act.
Measures are taken to ensure the integrity, security, and confidentiality of your personal information, including limited and controlled access to databases, multi-factor authentication, encrypted data, and other protective measures.
Personal information is retained as long as necessary to exercise the rights granted under the Member Agreement or in accordance with applicable laws.
Cookies are files used to log visits to a website. Only those essential for authentication are used on the portal. Users can disable cookies via browser settings, although this may impact certain site functionalities.
Panorama may suggest links to other websites, but it does not control, recommend, or endorse them and is not responsible for any sites that it does not own or operate.
