Commercial radio stations are not required to apply for a licence, as they are subject to the rates and terms certified by the Copyright Board. Under this tariff, they are responsible for completing the Connect Music Licensing/Panorama Revenue Reporting Form.
For reporting forms for previous periods or any questions, please contact radioreproduction@connectmusic.ca or radioreproduction@panorama.mu
A proxy allows one or more trusted individuals to perform specific actions on behalf of a Panorama account holder. This person can be an employee, an external collaborator (such as a rights manager, manager, accountant, etc.), or any other designated individual.
The proxy can grant full access to the entire account or limit the authorization to specific parts of the Octave portal (banking information, declarations, etc.).
To be eligible for royalties, you must declare to Panorama the sound recordings and music videos for which you hold the rights. Declarations are made online through the Octave portal.
Declarations can be submitted by singles, EPs, albums, or by music video. Before starting a declaration, make sure you have all the required information on hand. The tool below indicates which fields are mandatory, optional, or not required for each type of declaration. Once your declaration is complete, be sure to submit it by clicking the “Submit Declaration” button.
